TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By purchasing courses, services, products, or memberships from the National Permanent Makeup Academy (also known as "NPMUA," "National Permanent Makeup Association," or “the Academy”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, and you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

1. INTRODUCTION
By accessing or using any courses, memberships, services, or products offered by the Academy—including permanent makeup services, training, consulting, and coaching—you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement"). These terms apply to all clients, students, and customers ("you" or "your"), including anyone acting on your behalf.
NPMUA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Academy’s services after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. TERM, PAYMENT & MODIFICATIONS

The Agreement becomes effective on the date of your initial purchase or registration.

This Agreement remains in effect until services are rendered, or courses are completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any one-time purchases such as in-person services, events, or strategy sessions are separate from recurring services and not subject to additional obligations unless otherwise stated.

The Academy reserves the right to adjust pricing and service offerings over time. Any updates to pricing or terms will apply to future services or renewals.
3. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS
Permanent Makeup Service Appointments For Customers

Cancellations or rescheduling must be completed by the client at least 48 hours in advance using the online booking system.

Cancellations via phone, text, email, or social media are not accepted.

No-shows will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost, less any deposits already paid.

Booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Courses & Products (STUDENTS)

All course tuition, deposits, fees, kits, and physical products are non-refundable.
-
Kits include hygienic items and cannot be returned due to sanitation regulations.

A refund is only issued if NPMUA cancels the course. Detailed refund information HERE.
4. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due in U.S. Dollars and must be made via a valid credit card, direct debit, or payment plan as agreed upon.

If using a payment plan, all terms must be adhered to. Failure to comply may result in suspension of access.

Setup or enrollment fees are non-refundable.

You authorize NPMUA to charge your card or account for all agreed charges in advance.
5. SERVICES PROVIDED

The Academy provides professional coaching, consulting, and educational services to enhance your career in permanent makeup.

While the Academy offers expert instruction and guidance, it does not guarantee licensing, employment, healed results, or specific outcomes, as these vary by jurisdiction and individual.

Students are responsible for researching and complying with local licensing and regulatory requirements.
6. OWNERSHIP & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All materials, frameworks, systems, and course content are proprietary to NPMUA.

No rights or licenses are granted beyond what is explicitly stated.

You may not download, share, copy, or distribute any course materials, except printable worksheets where specified.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY
All proprietary, business, and instructional information shared by NPMUA is considered confidential and must not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent.
8. CLIENT REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES
You agree:

Not to violate any laws or infringe on third-party rights.

Not to engage in behavior that is defamatory, abusive, or harmful to others.

To behave professionally with all staff, students, and clients.
9. TECHNICAL ISSUES
NPMUA's website and online platform may undergo updates and maintenance. If outages exceed 24 hours and prevent access to your course, course access will be extended accordingly.
10. REGULATORY DISCLAIMER
NPMUA is a private educational provider and not a government licensing body. We provide training for informational and educational purposes. Students are solely responsible for fulfilling local licensing and regulatory requirements.
11. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NPMUA, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or legal fees arising from your use of its services or violation of this Agreement.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NPMUA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Results may vary, and no guarantees are made regarding career advancement, healed outcomes, or business success.
13. LEGAL TERMS

Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.

Venue: Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.

Attorneys’ Fees: The prevailing party in any legal dispute shall be entitled to reimbursement of legal fees.

No Waiver: A failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not waive the right to enforce it later.
-
Entire Agreement: These Terms represent the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior understandings.
